Industrial machinery excluding Machinery for the
production and use of mechanical power

This subsector comprises 38 technical bodies from CEN and CENELEC, dealing with the wide range of machinery used by the industries (e.g. paper, textile, food, oil and gas, amusement, etc.). Electrical aspects relating to machinery safety are within the responsibility of CLC/TC 44x.

Many of the documents are harmonised standards in support of the Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC.
