CEN and CENELEC issued a new joint guide on their membership criteria: CEN-CENELEC Guide 20.

This document contains a set of criteria to be fulfilled by all national CEN and CENELEC Members.
The 6 identified criteria are the following:

1/ Transparency
2/ Openness and development dimension
3/ Impartiality and consensus
4/ Effectiveness and relevance
5/ Coherence
6/ Viability and stability
