The CEN/CENELEC BT Working Group “STAndardization, Innovation and Research” (WG STAIR) shall carry out the following three tasks:

- To develop an integrated approach of research and innovation with standardization (short term task – to be closed end 2009)

- To raise awareness and ensure communication of benefit (short term task – to be closed end 2010)

- To review, adapt and monitor the infrastructure and operational environment (medium term task – to be reviewed before end 2012)
