To prepare harmonized standards defining satellite, terrestrial and cable receiver characteristics in the field of European broadcasting systems. EBU specifications, CCIR recommendations and reports, ISO, IEC and ETSI publications and other relevant documents have to be considered. Priority should be given to the receiver standards required for broadcasting systems which are made mandatory by European directives.
