To prepare harmonized standard for overhead electrical lines.

The standard(s) will specify the general requirements that should be met by the design and construction of an overhead line to ensure that the line is suitable for its purpose with regard to safety of persons, maintenance, operation and environmental consideration.

CENELEC, CEN, IEC publications and other relevant documents have to be considered.
