The European Electrotechnical Sectoral Committee for Testing and Certification (ELSECOM) is constituted within CENELEC to reflect the interests of manufacturers, users (including consumers and workers) and third parties (e.g. certifying bodies and testing laboratories), responding to perceived market needs for conformity assessment in the whole field of electrotechnology, including electronics.
