Abstract/Scope Specifies general requirements for the construction, testing and performance of electrically operated gas detection apparatus, designed for fixed installation in domestic premises, to give a warning alarm in the event of a hazardous accumulation of carbon monoxide. For the purposes of this draft standard, domestic premises will encompass recreational vehicles, houseboats, etc. if there is a similar potential hazard to human occupants.
