| Abstract/Scope | IEC 60875-1:2010(E) applies to non-wavelength-selective fibre optic branching devices which are passive (they contain no optoelectronic or other transducing elements) and have three or more ports for the entry and/or exit of optical power which is shared among these ports in a predetermined fashion. This fifth edition cancels and replaces the fourth edition published in 2000. It constitutes a technical revision. The changes with respect to the previous edition are to delete the clause of Quality assessment procedures and reconsider the constitution of this standard. |
