| Abstract/Scope | Diese Europäische Norm legt Prüfverfahren und Anforderungen an das Betriebsverhalten für atemalkoholgesteuerte Alkohol-Interlocks fest, die ein Mundstück besitzen. Sie behandelt Alkohol-Interlocks, die für den allgemeinpräventiven Einsatz vorgesehen sind. Diese Europäische Norm richtet sich hauptsächlich an Prüflaboratorien und Hersteller von Alkohol-Interlocks. Sie legt Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren für die Typzulassung fest. Einzelne Parameter (wie zum Beispiel Alkoholkonzentration oder Atemvolumen) sind in dieser Europäischen Norm nur für den Zweck der Baumusterprüfung nach dieser Norm festgelegt. Möglicherweise ist es jedoch notwendig, auf Grund von nationalen Vorschriften oder abhängig von Benutzerwünschen die Werte dieser Parameter für den Einsatz der Alkohol-Interlocks abweichend festzulegen. Diese Europäische Norm gilt auch für Alkohol-Interlocks, die in andere Systeme des Fahrzeugs integriert sind. Diese Europäische Norm gilt nicht für – Alkohol-Interlocks, die hauptsächlich für den Einsatz in Verkehrssicherheits-Programmen für Trunkenheitsfahrer vorgesehen sind (siehe EN 50436-1), – Geräte, die die Alkoholkonzentration in der Innenraumluft des Fahrzeugs messen, – Alkohol-Interlocks, die kein Mundstück besitzen. |
