| Abstract/Scope | It specifies the packet format and the transmission timing for HD-DVCR data. It describes the specifications for the IEEE 1394 packet, the CIP header for 1125-60 and 1250-50 television systems, and the transmission timing. The significant technical changes with respect to the second edition are as follows: - Allocation of a new FMT code for the 1394 Trade Association specification '601 over 1394'; - Clarification of the meaning of FMT code; - Harmonization of IEC 61883-1 with IEEE 1394.1 for speeds over S400. |
