Subcommittee ( SC )
In principle, a Technical Committee (TC) should function through Working Groups. However, Subcommittees (SC) may be established by a TC having responsibility for a large programme of work in which different expertise is needed for different parts of the work, and the range of separate activities needs coordination over long periods of time.
The parent TC shall retain full responsibility for the work of its Subcommittees.
The members of a SC are the CENELEC national members (NCs) who appoint delegates to participate to SC meetings.
The parent TC appoints the secretariat of a SC and appoints the Chairperson of the SC.
