CENELEC activities around e-Accessibility:  On 25 February 2004 the following event took place in Brussels where CENELEC sent a speaker in the context of "TV for All" : European conference on Access to the Information Society for deaf and hard of hearing people.  Further information can be found at http://www.ictrnid.org.uk/euc/index.html. Following the conference on "TV for All" held in Barcelona on 28 October 2003, the Interim Report published in July 2003 was discussed in order to prepare a Final Report planned for November 2003.  The Final report is now available since 15th November 2003.  It is mainly comprised of recommendations on Media Access which, through standardization, could be applicable to Regulatory bodies, broadcasters and service providers. In the meantime, we invite any interested parties to join the virtual group and contribute to the ongoing work. See below for details of the Barcelona conference on 28 October 2003.
